If you’re looking to switch from surviving to hunting in Doom by Fate, picking the right killer makes a noticeable difference.
Some killers in this Roblox game can pressure the map and pick off players quickly, while others require setup or strong positioning to get value.
This tier list will help you decide which killers are worth saving your Tix for, based on consistency, ease of use, and overall match impact.
S Tier – Reliable Pressure and Strong Chase Tools
John Doe
Cost: 3,000 Tix
John Doe is slow when walking, but his kit gives him all the tools he needs to keep chases going and chip down survivors over time. The longer a fight goes on, the more it shifts in his favor.
Abilities:
- Punch / Slash (M1): Standard close-range hits. Both variations deal the same damage, so don’t worry about choosing the “right” one mid-fight.
- Corroded Wave (Q): Creates a corrosive puddle that slows survivors and damages them if they step through it. Meanwhile, you gain a movement boost, which compensates for his slower default speed. Pressing Q again summons spikes, letting you punish anyone trying to avoid the liquid.
- Command Grab (E): A short knockback grab, useful for interrupting healing or punishing survivors who stay too close.
- Corrupted Force (R): A forward charge that can slam survivors into walls to deal extra damage if timed well.
Why S Tier:
John Doe controls space, punishes panicked movement, and forces survivors to make mistakes. Even inexperienced players can get value just by using Corroded Wave in choke points.
A Tier – High Pressure and Strong Chasing
Jeff the Killer
Cost: 1,000 Tix
Jeff is particularly good against teams that split up and try to hide, thanks to his stealth options. His damage spikes when attacking from behind, rewarding good pathing and tracking.
Abilities:
- Slash and Stab (M1): Deals extra damage when you manage to hit a survivor from behind, so flanking pays off.
- Murderous Intent (Q): Makes you invisible but reduces movement speed. Good for surprise approaches or breaking line-of-sight.
- Sweet Dreams / Nighty Night (E): A grab attack that works from both front and back positions.
- Bloodthirst (R): A rapid dash strike that deals heavy damage and often ends a chase if lined up cleanly.
Why A Tier:
Jeff rewards smart movement and ambush timing, and once you learn common survivor escape paths, you can pick them apart quickly.
B Tier – Can Dominate, But Requires Good Timing
Captain Rampage
Cost: 2,500 Tix
Captain Rampage hits hard, but managing his Sharkprey Rounds is where most of the complexity lies. If you track your ammo carefully and use reload windows properly, he can overwhelm survivors fast.
Abilities:
- Passive — Sharkprey Rounds: Some abilities use ammo to increase damage.
- Slash (M1): Deals extra damage when ammo is available.
- Shatter Slash (Q): A two-part strike that can consume up to 3 rounds depending on how many hits you land.
- Tidal Cleaver (E): A charged area slash that can hit multiple survivors in front of you.
- Tiger Mark (R): Reloads to full ammo, grants invulnerability for a short time, and provides temporary ESP to track survivors.
Why B Tier:
High potential, but you need to plan your attacks, reload windows, and chase routes. Strong in experienced hands.
C00lkid
Cost: Free
C00lkid is the starter killer, but he actually has a surprisingly flexible kit. His damage values aren’t as high as the killers above him, but he has several chase tools to close distance.
Abilities:
- Slash (M1): Basic melee swing.
- Dual Blade (Q): Throws two blades that can hit from range.
- Lacerate (E): A short dash slash that stuns survivors in front of you. Good for interrupting revives or chase resets.
- Speed Hack (T): Temporarily increases speed and reveals survivors, which is helpful when trying to locate stragglers.
- Velocity Strike (R): A slow wind-up heavy hit that deals major damage if it connects.
Why B Tier:
He’s free and easy to learn, but landing his stronger abilities consistently takes timing, especially Velocity Strike.
