I’ve been jotting down notes for achievement hunting in Dispatch, and figured I’d share them as a guide for anyone chasing those trophies.
This episode 2 missions guide is mostly complete for now, though I’m still figuring out the experience formula—it’s not the main focus, but I’ll update when I know more.
Episode 2 Missions
Missions in Episode 2 require you to match your team’s stats (Intellect, Combat, Vigor, Charisma, Mobility) to the mission’s stat pentagon. If your team’s stat shape fully covers the mission’s, it’s an automatic success.
Some missions have an exclamation mark (!), letting you pick from special options. These either trigger auto-success with specific characters or test just one stat instead of all five. Choosing an auto-success option boosts that character’s XP gain by about a third (still testing this).
Certain missions only unlock if you fail others. For example, failing “Blaze in the Burbs” unlocks “Bigger Blaze in the Burbs.” Some options are also conditional, like sending Punch Up solo to “Fight at Crypto-Night” to unlock choices like “Host a drinking contest” or “Fight the Fight-Men.”
The recommendations below focus on nabbing the “Shift Was Lit” achievement (complete a Z-Team shift without failing or missing any calls).
| Mission | Intellect | Combat | Vigor | Charisma | Mobility | Slots | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lost Balloon | 1 | 1 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 1 | Flambae (100% success) |
| VAND-GO Opening | 3 | 1 | 1 | 3 | 1 | 1 | Sonar-Human (100% success) |
| Cray Cray Bidet | – | – | – | – | – | 0 | Hacking mission |
| Fight at Crypto-Night | – | Fight-5 | – | Badass-3 / Dynamic-4 / Dumbass-5 / Drinking-6 | – | 3 | Prism solo (auto-success). Level up her Intellect; consider unlocking abilities for Prism, Golem, and Coupe first (see Starting Abilities section). |
| Retrieve Stolen Boat | 2 | 1 | 2 | 1 | 3 | 1 | Invisigal (83% success) |
| Museum Robbery | – | – | Power through-3 | – | Weave-3 | 2 | Sonar-Bat |
| In the Zone | 4 | 1 | 1 | 4 | 1 | 1 | Prism with upgraded Intellect (83% success, matches Sonar-Human) |
| Blaze in the Burbs | Hose-2 | – | Body-4 | – | – | 1 | Golem |
| Bigger Blaze in the Burbs | – | – | – | Convince-3 | Circumvent-? | ? | Avoid this mission for “Shift Was Lit.” Golem/Malevola have auto-success options. |
| Apprehend Art Thieves | 4 | 2 | 1 | 2 | 5 | 2 | Invisigal + Coupe |
| Send Sonar As Security | – | Wing-10 | – | Yourself-2 / Story-1 | – | 1 | Sonar-Any (“Tell a Story” option) |

| Granny’s Donuts | – | – | – | – | – | Story | Hacking mission |
Achievements
Only Episodes 1 and 2 are out as of now, so some achievements are currently impossible. If you see players with these, they’re likely devs, QA testers, reviewers, or using unlockers.
Pro Tip: Episode 2’s dispatch phase doesn’t save until Invisigal asks for eyes on Granny’s Donuts. If you quit to the main menu during dispatch, you’ll restart just after the slideshow—about 3-4 minutes from there to the first few missions.
There are 15 hidden achievements not listed here.

Mission Experience Breakdown
Thanks to UnlimitedNC for noting that everyone gets XP from successful missions. Here’s what I’ve tested:
- Crypto-Night > Idol Makeover:
- Prism solo: 1,729 XP
- Prism + Punch Up: 576 + 433 XP (1,009 total)
- Prism + Punch Up + Malevola: 576 + 433 + 433 XP (1,442 total)
- Crypto-Night > Dynamic Duo:
- Sonar-Human + Malevola: 650 + 650 XP (1,300 total)
- Prism + Malevola + Golem: 433 + 433 + 433 XP (1,299 total)
- Museum Robbery > Weave:
- Invisigal solo: 910 XP
- Malevola + Coupe: 455 + 455 XP (910 total)
Takeaway: For decision-based missions with auto-success, send heroes solo to maximize XP. For stat-based missions, total XP is fixed, so choose how to split it.
Stat-based Missions:
- Lost Balloon
- VAND-GO Opening
- Retrieve Stolen Boat
- In the Zone
- Apprehend Art Thieves
- Send Literally Anyone Else
Decision-based Missions:
- Fight at Crypto-Night
- Museum Robbery
- Blaze in the Burbs
- Bigger Blaze in the Burbs
- Send Sonar As Security
- Juvenile Pickpocket At Large
- Locate Stolen Art
XP Formula (Stat-based Missions): XP = (Mission Value – Success Rate) / Mission Modifier
Examples:
- Lost Balloon (Value: 308, Modifier: 0.4):
- Flambae (100% success): (308 – 100) / 0.4 = 520 XP
- Coupe (72% success): (308 – 72) / 0.4 = 590 XP
- Retrieve Stolen Boat (Value: 360, Modifier: 0.4):
- Invisigal (83% success): (360 – 83) / 0.4 = 692 XP
- Sonar-Bat (72% success): (360 – 72) / 0.4 = 720 XP
- Coupe (63% success): (360 – 63) / 0.4 = 742 XP
Key Notes:
- Lower success rates = higher XP if successful.
- Failed missions give no XP.
Starting Abilities for “Getting to Know Yous” Achievement
Thanks to VvVitekVvV for Malevola’s ability info. You don’t need to send heroes on missions to unlock slot-based abilities (Golem, Prism, Coupe)—just assign them to the right slot.
| Hero | Ability | Description | How to Unlock |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sonar | Instincts | Intellect swaps with Combat, Charisma swaps with Vigor until next call. | Send Sonar on any mission. |
| Flambae | On Fire | +1 Combat and Mobility after success (stacks, resets on failure). | Send Flambae on Lost Balloon. |
| Invisigal | Lone Wolf | Reduces travel and completion time when solo. | Send Invisigal solo (Episode 2’s final mission may count). |
| Punch Up | Hard Head | No debuffs from injuries, cannot be downed. | Send Punch Up on Blaze in the Burbs. |
| Malevola | Life Trade | Heals one hero when sent together, gains +1 Charisma or Vigor (stacks). | Send Punch Up (Blaze in the Burbs), then Punch Up + Malevola (Bigger Blaze). |
| Golem | Diamond in the Rough | On calls with >2 slots, certain slots give +2 to a stat, -1 to others. | Assign Golem to first slot in Crypto-Night. |
| Prism | Doppelganger Illusion | Duplicates hero to her left into an empty slot on her right with half stats. | Assign any hero to first slot, Prism to second in Crypto-Night. |
| Coupe | En Pointe | On calls with ≥2 slots, +1 Combat (first slot) or +1 Mobility (second slot). | Assign any hero to first slot, Coupe to second in Crypto-Night. |
Starting Stats
For planning your achievement run, here’s the heroes’ starting stats. Some differ from the demo (e.g., Invisigal’s Vigor dropped by 1, Golem’s Charisma-Mobility shifted from 3-1 to 2-2).
| Hero | Intellect | Combat | Vigor | Charisma | Mobility |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sonar | 4 | 2 | 1 | 3 | 2 |
| Flambae | 1 | 4 | 2 | 2 | 3 |
| Invisigal | 2 | 3 | 2 | 1 | 3 |
| Punch Up | 1 | 3 | 4 | 3 | 1 |
| Malevola | 2 | 3 | 2 | 3 | 2 |
| Golem | 1 | 3 | 4 | 2 | 2 |
| Prism | 2 | 4 | 1 | 4 | 1 |
| Coupe | 3 | 4 | 1 | 1 | 3 |
